The Tao of Politics

One of my main concerns is: how can I make a difference? There are thousands of political blogs out there. It’s easy to get lost in that ocean. So I may blog about politics on occasion, or I may blog about health issues, depending on where my interests lead me, and where I feel I can contribute something of significance.

Political Notes
You think we might actually get a chance to impeach the president? Don’t get my hopes up unless you think there’s a real possibility.

Well, it’s unanimous. All fifty state governors oppose reductions in the National Guard. (Firedoglake also has some comments on this.) It’s great to have such bipartisan unanimity, and really just points out how out of step with the rest of the country the Bush administration is.

I guess it’s a bad day when even members of his own party are critiquing an incumbent president.

MyDD offers evidence that George W. Bush has placed more of a tax burden on some of our citizens. And of course we all know what he has done for the richest among us.

And Talking Points Memo has an interesting talking point.

Socialism for the rich. The "trickle up" economic theory of the Chimperor is sending us to the poorhouse by the truckload.
