Bush brought the campaign back to the issue of Iraq by saying that both Vice President Cheney and Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld will be in their jobs until 2009. So what you’re saying is, that’s more of the same, right? Stay the course, right? Thank you, thank you, thank you for getting us back on topic.

Electoral-Vote.com today has the US House shaping up to be 241 to 193 Democratic. That would be a pickup of forty seats, right? Major shift! (BTW, Jean Schmidt, of OH-2, is trailing her challenger by a slight margin. Thank you, Lord.)
