One of my main concerns is: how can I make a difference? There are thousands of political blogs out there. It’s easy to get lost in that ocean. So I may blog about politics on occasion, or I may blog about health issues, depending on where my interests lead me, and where I feel I can contribute something of significance.

I’m glad to see the Democrats talking back and answering the recent assertions of George War Bush and his cronies. Someone needs to stand up to these guys and show the country that we have strong leaders too. Also, one way to battle the disinformation put out by the GOP is to say the truth, over and over again. And yes, terrorism is one of the most dangerous threats facing the world today. Too bad that the Bush administration has gotten distracted by Iraq and has not faced the threat of terrorism more vigorously.

I never mind setting the record straight, so when it comes to the supposition that plants do not contain cholesterol, that supposition may be false, at least according to this article. This was originally referenced in Wikipedia.

In a sad commentary, Americans get more of their antioxidants from coffee than from anything else – sad, but not totally unexpected.
