One of my main concerns is: how can I make a difference? There are thousands of political blogs out there. It’s easy to get lost in that ocean. So I may blog about politics on occasion, or I may blog about health issues, depending on where my interests lead me, and where I feel I can contribute something of significance.

This is interesting: twenty-one high ranking former US officials call on George War Bush to change his hard line approach and be more open to negotiating with countries like Iran and North Korea, saying that his policies have made this country less safe.

Well, I think deficits do matter, but apparently George War Bush disagrees.

Am I the only person who heard District Attorney Mary Lacy mispronounce the word “poignant?” (video)

Can listening to certain kinds of music really make one more likely to get AIDS? Do we really want to spend money on this kind of research?
