One of my main concerns is: how can I make a difference? There are thousands of political blogs out there. It’s easy to get lost in that ocean. So I may blog about politics on occasion, or I may blog about health issues, depending on where my interests lead me, and where I feel I can contribute something of significance.

The holiday season is always a problematic time, particularly when eating with people who don’t share your dietary preferences. I have at times gained five pounds over the holidays, and have had a very difficult time taking those pounds off. Here are some suggestions for trying to eat healthy over the holidays. They include eating squash, pumpkin pie, cruciferous vegetables, and sweet potatoes. Good luck!
